Horse Racing - Wagering Rules
- Place
your bet online up to the time the horses leave the gate. Please note
that when wagering horses via the Call Center wagers must be in prior
to 5 minutes before the post of that race.
- Races will be graded immediately upon the results being posted.
- Refer here for wager limits and max payouts.
- When
wagering on coupled horses if one horse scratches you will still have
action on all other horses. A refund will only be applicable if ALL
coupled horses are scratched.
- If for any reason the race does not close due to a
technical fault and you are able to bet after the horses have left the
gate, your bet will be voided and your money returned to your account.
- If a wager is placed on a track in which no payout
is given, the bet will be voided and the customer's initial wager will
be returned. No payout will be given based on morning lines or odds
prior to the race.
- If a "pick" wager is made, no payout will be given
as a consolation. For example, no payout will be given for picking 3
out of 4 winners, or 5 out of 6 winners.
- Special rule for exotic bets: If the horse you
wagered on is scratched, we will refund the bet amount. We do not
follow any track house rules. For example, if a horse is scratched we
will not replace that horse with another horse as the bet will be
voided and your wagered amount will be refunded to the account.
- The maximum that we will pay per customer per day is $50,000 USD on any combination of tracks.
- Category A tracks ? maximum payout per customer per day is $50,000 USD
- Category B tracks ? maximum payout per customer per day is $25,000 USD
- Category C tracks and Greyhounds ? maximum payout per customer per day is $10,000 USD
- In match-ups between two horses, all horses must go for wagers to have action.
- The winner of the match-up will be determined by the highest placed finisher between the horses in that particular match-up.
- Match-ups are not eligible for rebates.
- In match-ups between one named horse and the Field, wagers will have
action if the named horse starts. Scratches of horses in the Field will
not affect the standing of the wager.
Track rules will apply for any rule not mentioned above.
